I have used Borland's C++ versions 4.5 and 5.01. These are
console versions.

For comparison, I, also, am using/learning C++ Builder 5.

My questions for starters:

1) What are the portability issues of using a visual product versus
a console editor/compiler combo???

2) What are the learning issues using a visual product???

THANKS for your insights and opinions.

Respectfully,

MJR
