Hi
If I have read the notes correctly on DR 45 (Access to Nested Classes) here
http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/cwg_defects.html#45
although the matter was raised in 1998 (so 8 years ago), the reason none of
the Proposed Wording made it into the 2003 revision of the C++ standard, was
that its current status "WP" (A DR issue whose resolution is reflected in
the current Working Paper. The Working Paper is a draft for a future version
of the Standard) implies that it will make it into a future C++ standard.
Is my understanding correct?
Does that mean, that effectively it is in limbo and not in force with the
C++ standard?
Thanks
Stephen Howe
