By cheap I mean inexpensive.
Is anyone planning on purchasing ms VC++8 next month that is willing to part
will there old version?
Does anyone know if there are any problems developing Direct X apps with
GNU?
Can anyone recomend a compiler for C++, Win, win64, Direct X, ... ?
Thanks in advance.

Dan, you're much better off asking about all this in a Windows development
group since developing for/on MS Windows seems your primary concern. Do
not get me wrong, I am just trying to help you find what you're looking
for.
