The discussion of non-standard libraries is off-topic on comp.lang.c++, Try http://www.wxwindows.org/ or http://www.wxwidgets.org/ ( the library has just been renamed to wxwidgets as a result of a friendly settlement with a maker of "Windows" ). It has the docs, the source downloads, including samples, and a mailing list for support.
