Problem: I have a string say s = "1F3"; and I have to place the contents of
s into two characters cC1 and cC2;
End Result: cC1 = 0x01; and cC2 = 0xF3;
Solution:????
Thank you,
Neil

Convert the string to an int first, then take the upper and lower
bytes. See the FAQ:
http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lite/misc-technical-issues.html#faq-39.2
Note that you may need to prepend "0x" onto the string since it is in
hex.
