Unless the thoughts in question deal with the C++ language proper,
you'll want to try soc.singles or a similar group.

The word "friends" in the English language is a sacred word (no, not in
a religious sense). Its too often used liberally to indicate
acquaintances or someone you have once met or now know. Friendship is
not given or distributed: it is earned.
